Hoya Lee

Hoya Lee has a strong background in the gaming and entertainment industry. They have held various roles at different companies throughout their career.

In 2007, Hoya Lee started at Industrial Light & Magic as a Lighting TD. They then moved on to Rhythm & Hues as a Lighting TD. Next, they joined Digital Domain as a Lookdev / Lighting TD.

In 2008, Hoya Lee joined Blizzard Entertainment as a Sr. Cinematic Artist until 2012. During this time, they also worked at Sony Imageworks as a Sr. Lighting TD.

In 2012, Hoya Lee joined Quantic Dream as a CG Supervisor, working on projects such as the "Dark Sorcerer" PS4 tech demo and an untitled next-gen game for PS4.

After leaving Quantic Dream, Hoya Lee worked at Ready At Dawn Studios as a Sr. Lighting Artist from 2014 to 2015. They then moved to Nexon Korea as an Art Director for a brief period from June to December 2015.

From 2016 to 2020, Hoya Lee worked at High Moon Studios as a Sr. Lighting Artist. Finally, in 2020, they joined Obsidian Entertainment as a Sr. Lighting Artist, where they are currently employed.

Hoya Lee began their education at Konkuk University in 1993, where they studied Architecture Design and obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in 2000. Hoya then pursued their Master of Fine Arts degree in Computer Animation at the Academy of Art University from 2000 to 2002.
