Kristopher Terhurne has extensive work experience in the field of technical art and character development. Kristopher is currently employed as a Senior Character Technical Artist at Obsidian Entertainment since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Technical Artist at Sledgehammer Games from February 2020 to April 2022. Kristopher also served as a Senior Technical Artist at Visual Concepts from March 2018 to February 2020.
Before joining Visual Concepts, Kristopher worked at Hangar 13 as a Senior Technical Artist from January 2015 to March 2018. Their responsibilities included providing cloth simulation and tools for environments and characters, creating a procedural content pipeline, and optimizing the pipeline for current generation platforms.
From April 2013 to January 2015, they worked as a Technical Artist at KIXEYE, where they focused on rigging characters, scripting, and preparing assets for implementation into Unity. Kristopher contributed to various games such as Backyard Monsters, Vega Conflict, and Tome.
Their earlier roles include working as a Technical Artist at Goko from December 2011 to October 2012, as a Character Artist at Clockwork Interactive from August 2011 to December 2011, as a Technical Service Engineer at Max Process Equipment from October 2006 to November 2011, and as a 3D Generalist at Resolution Independents from August 2009 to July 2011.
Kristopher began their career as a Security Systems Technician II at Johnson Controls from August 2005 to July 2006.
Kristopher Terhurne started their education at Associated Technical College-San Diego in 2004, where they earned a certification in Telecommunication Technology. Kristopher then went on to attend the Academy of Art University from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Animation and Visual Effects.
