Alexander Vandenberg-Rodes

Lead Software Architect at Obsidian

Alexander Vandenberg-Rodes has a diverse work experience in both academia and industry. Alexander started their career at UC Irvine, where they served as a Visiting Assistant Professor from July 2011 to August 2014. Alexander then transitioned to the role of Assistant Project Scientist from September 2014 to March 2017. In 2017, they joined Obsidian Security as a Data Scientist and worked there until October 2020. During their time at Obsidian Security, they held the position of Senior Principal ML Researcher starting from October 2020.

Alexander Vandenberg-Rodes completed their education in Mathematics with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree at UCLA from 2006 to 2011, specializing in Mathematics.
