Chris Kennington has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Chris began their career as a Manufacturing Engineer at Digital Power & Motion in 2013. In 2016, they moved to Digital Power and Motion, LLC as a Mobile Application Developer. In 2018, they joined Edward Jones as a Programmer Analyst. In 2019, they became a Site Reliability Engineer at Mastercard. In 2020, they went to World Wide Technology as a Security Engineer, where they audited and supported agile development teams, analyzed the results of security testing tools, worked with product teams to perform web application penetration tests, selected and deployed security testing tools, and built threat models for development teams. In 2022, they began working as a Security Engineer at Obsidian Security.

Chris Kennington has an education history that includes a Master's degree in Cyber Security from Maryville University of Saint Louis, which they completed between 2018 and 2020. Chris also holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Lindenwood University, which they obtained between 2009 and 2012. Additionally, they have obtained four certifications, including Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org (obtained in December 2019), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA, and EC-Council's Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council.
