Liang He

Liang Liang has been working in the software engineering field for several companies since 2004. Liang is currently employed at Obsidian Security as a Staff Software Engineer, where they are involved in the development, validation, and improvement of Obsidian Cloud Security products, as well as providing ongoing product support.

Before joining Obsidian Security, Liang worked at Splunk as a Senior Software Engineer in Test for two years. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Automation Engineer at Tripadvisor for five years, focusing on automation testing.

Liang also has experience in automation testing for web and mobile applications. Liang worked at Commonwealth Bank as an Automation Engineer and Mobile Automation Lead, and at Fairfax Media as an Automation Test Analyst.

In addition, Liang has experience as a QA Lead at Digital Post Australia, where they performed various QA and testing tasks, including test planning, execution, and documentation. Liang also developed the QA Portal, which automated test result publishing and test progress monitoring.

Earlier in their career, Liang worked as a Technical Test Analyst at Salmat and as a Senior Tester at MassMedia Studios, gaining experience in functional and performance testing, as well as test automation. Liang also worked as a Senior Test Engineer at Perficient, where they were involved in automation testing for Siebel applications.

Liang started their career as a Software Engineer at Hewlett-Packard, where they developed the HPIC application and served as the product owner of HP OVCM OS Manager.

Throughout their career, Liang has developed a strong expertise in software engineering, automation testing, and product development.

Liang Liang holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computing Science from The University of Manchester, which they completed from 2003 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Liang Liang has also acquired several certifications, such as Blockchain Basics and Learning vi from LinkedIn, Apache Spark Essential Training and Learning Cloud Computing: Serverless Computing from LinkedIn, The Six Morning Habits of High Performers from LinkedIn, Advanced ISTQB certified Test Analyst from ANZTB, and Splunk Core Certified User from Splunk. These certifications were obtained at various points in time, with the most recent being the Splunk Core Certified User certification acquired in February 2021.
