David Wehrs

David Wehrs has a strong background in the finance and investment industry. David started their career at Red Hat as a Senior Analyst in Corporate Finance and worked there from 2007 to 2010. David then founded The Fox Hollow Group in 2010 before joining McKinsey & Company in 2011 as an Engagement Manager. At McKinsey, they worked until 2016. In 2016, they joined Bessemer Venture Partners as a Partner and headed the Platform and Investor Relations departments until 2023. From 2018 to 2023, they also advised at Standard Bots. Currently, David is the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Investor Relations at Obvious Ventures, starting in 2023.

David Wehrs has an MBA in Finance and Economics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. David also holds a BS in Economics from Duke University.
