Mark Gehringer

Ac-130j Contract Instructor at OBXtek

Mark Gehringer has a diverse work experience in the field of contract instruction and operations. Mark is currently employed at OBXtek as an AC-130J Contract Instructor since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Credence Management Solutions, LLC as an AC-130J Contract Instructor from February 2020 to April 2022. Mark also has experience working at The Rockhill Group, Inc. as a Contract Instructor for the AC-130J from February 2018 to January 2020, and as a Simulator/Classroom Instructor for the AC-130U from August 2016 to February 2018.

Before entering the civilian industry, Mark served in the United States Air Force where they held various roles including Assistant Operations Officer, AC-130 Fire Control Officer from April 2013 to June 2016. Mark Gehringer has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Mark later pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Homeland Security at the American Military University from 2009 to 2011. In between, they attended the USAF Air Command and Staff College in 2008 and the United States Air Force Weapons School in 2002, although no specific degree or field of study information is provided for these institutions.
