James Overton

James Overton is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Interim Head of FP&A at Ocado Retail since May 2022. Overton has a strong background in financial planning and analysis, having led various teams focused on management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Prior roles at Ocado Retail include Senior Finance Manager positions in the Accounting Centre of Excellence and Finance Transformation, where Overton successfully established a new team and contributed to key finance transformation projects. Previous experience includes a Commercial Finance Manager role at Greencore and several positions at Deloitte in Risk Advisory, spanning from Associate to Manager. Overton began a career foundation at BP and has been further complemented by an academic background in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham and ACA qualifications from ICAEW.
