April Chagoya

April Chagoya, MPH, CPH, currently serves as the Resident Director at Occidental College, a position held since September 2023. Previously, April held the role of Residence Director at Mount Saint Mary's University from November 2020 to August 2023. April has also demonstrated leadership and research capabilities as a Head Resident Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at Mount Saint Mary's University, where responsibilities included training, budget management, and programming development. April's professional background includes public affairs work with Planned Parenthood Los Angeles and experience as a Community Services Assistant with the City of Fontana. April holds a Master's of Public Health from UC Irvine and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Health Care Policy and Spanish with an Emphasis in Translation from Mount Saint Mary's University.
