Mary L. Maher

Mary L. Maher, M.A., serves as the Sr. Advisor to the CHRO & COO and Associate Vice President & Chief Human Resource Officer at Occidental College since February 2022. With extensive experience in leadership coaching and human resources consulting as a self-employed professional since August 2018, Mary has previously held significant roles including Adjunct Instructor at Ripon College and various senior human resources positions at the University of Baltimore and the University of Texas Health Science Centers in San Antonio and Houston. Mary's foundational experience includes directing compensation operations at the University of Michigan. Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Diego State University and a Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of Humanistic Studies.
