Humaid al Shueili

Humaid Al Shueili is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in automation and control systems. Currently serving as an Engineering Team Leader at Occidental since July 2011, Humaid oversees the Automation & Control team and LACT metering team while holding various leadership roles, including Instrumentation Control and Automation Engineering Lead and Automation Engineering Lead. Responsibilities include managing control systems for water delivery and treatment plants and steam generating facilities in the MUK field. Prior to Occidental, Humaid worked as a Coil Tubing Field Engineer at Schlumberger for a brief period in 2011 and gained foundational experience as an Electrical Technician at Massey University from 2008 to 2010. Humaid holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Automation and Control from Massey University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation and Control from the University of Limerick.
