Jacob Jones

Jacob Jones is a Senior Staff Reservoir Engineer at Oxy, having joined the company in August 2019. In this role, Jacob is part of the DJ development engineering team, focusing on optimizing field development and streamlining the permitting process. Prior experience includes positions as a Senior Reservoir Engineer and Production Engineer at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation from May 2014 to August 2019, as well as a Production Operations Intern at Swift Energy Company in the summer of 2013. Additionally, Jacob served as an Undergrad Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from May 2012 to May 2013. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin (2011-2014) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance from Houston Christian University (2006-2009).
