Jim Harrell

Jim Harrell is an experienced professional with a background in land negotiation and management within the energy sector. Currently serving as an Advisor Land Negotiator and Senior Landman at Oxy since August 2019, Jim collaborates with various departments, including Title, Surveyors, and Environmental Teams, to achieve project objectives. Prior roles include Senior Landman and Senior Right-of-Way Contract Agent at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, where responsibilities included oversight of land transactions. Jim's earlier experience at Texhoma Land Consultants involved critical title examinations in the Oklahoma SCOOP area. Educational qualifications include a Masters of Legal Studies focused on Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, along with dual bachelor's degrees in Economics and Natural Resource Recreation and Tourism from Colorado State University.
