Ed O'Connor

Ed O'Connor, MSc. MIIMS, is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience in marine surveying, operations, and management. Currently serving as Director of Towing Operations at Ocean / Océan since December 2016 and as Marine Surveyor and President at Coastwise Management Inc. and Coastwise SPV Ltd, respectively, O'Connor's expertise encompasses marine asset management, vessel management, and commercial cargo operations. Additionally, O'Connor has played a significant role as President of the Welland Canals Foundation Inc., promoting the historical and economic importance of the Welland Canals. Previous positions include Superintendent of Operations at Norlake Transportation Inc., Director at NADAS, and various management roles in auditing and project management. O'Connor holds multiple diplomas and degrees in marine surveying, maritime studies, and business management from institutions including Middlesex University and Brock University.
