Ron Kiefer

Ron Kiefer, MBA, serves as the Vice President - Regulatory Risk and Policy Manager at Ocean Bank since August 2021, overseeing the OFAC/Sanctions compliance process for customer and transaction screening. Prior to this role, Ron held the position of Vice President - BSA Risk and Policy Manager at Amerant Bank from October 2014 to July 2021, managing similar sanctions compliance efforts. Ron's career also includes significant experience at Mercantil Commercebank as Vice President - Risk Assessment Manager, where Ron developed risk assessment methodologies, and at E*TRADE, where Ron fulfilled various roles related to Sarbanes Oxley compliance and brokerage operations.
