Jack A. Elias has a long and distinguished career in the medical field. Jack A. started their career at Yale School of Medicine in 1990, where they served as Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine and Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. In 2013, they moved to Brown University, where they served as Senior Vice President for Health Affairs and Dean of Medicine and Biological Sciences. In 2019, they founded OCEAN BIOMEDICAL and joined its Scientific Advisory Board.

Jack A. Elias received their Doctor of Medicine - MD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1976. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from the University of Pennsylvania in 1973.
