Megan Williams

Fisheries Scientist at Ocean Conservancy

Megan Williams is a Fisheries Scientist at Ocean Conservancy, where employment began in September 2017. Prior to this role, Megan served as an Analyst at Seafood Watch Monterey Bay Aquarium from January 2017 to February 2023 and as an Adjunct Professor at Sierra Nevada College during the same period. Additionally, Megan was an NRC Postdoctoral Fellow at the Alaska Fishery Science Center from November 2014 to 2016. Educational accomplishments include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Fisheries from the University of Alaska Fairbanks (2009-2014), a Master's degree in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation from Scripps Research (2006-2007), and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Relations and Affairs from the University of California, Davis (1997-2001).
