Jorge Miguel Mimoso

Jorge Miguel Mimoso currently serves as a Médico interno de Medicina Interna at Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Algarve and as a Médico de medicina de emergência at INEM - Instituto Nacional de Emergência Médica, I.P. Since 2022, Jorge has held the position of Editor associado for Life Saving Scientific, a scientific journal focused on emergency medicine. Additionally, Jorge functions as a docente/assistente convidado at Universidade do Algarve and as an invited professor at Universidade Lusófona Group. Jorge is also a Senior Instructor for ACLS and BLS with the American Heart Association and Ocean Medical, and has been involved with Portimão Surf Clube as Director since 2014. Jorge has chaired the organizing and scientific committees for the First Technical Emergency Congress of Algarve since 2014. Prior nursing experience includes working as an Emergency Nurse at Centro Hospitalar do Algarve from 2011 to 2020. Educational qualifications include a degree in Nursing from Universidade do Algarve and prior studies at Universidad de Sevilla.
