Luis Bracamonte

Luis Bracamonte has extensive experience in the fitness industry. Luis started their career as a Graduate Assistant Swim Coach at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2001. Luis then worked as an Independent Performance Coach and Consultant for the Chicago Fire Soccer Club in 2009. In 2008, they joined the Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago as a Lead Trainer, where they taught private and group sessions, created fitness and nutrition programs, and contributed to the promotion of the spa. In the same year, they also became a Lululemon Brand Ambassador, representing the brand until 2011. From 2003 to 2010, they worked as a Self-Employed Fitness Trainer, providing mobile fitness training to clients in downtown Chicago. Some notable clients they trained include Chicago movers and shakers and residents of Millennium Park Plaza. In 2010, they joined Health and Tennis as a Fitness Specialist, where they worked until 2012. In 2012, they started working at Ocean Reef Club as an Assistant Fitness Manager, and later became the Fitness Manager in 2015. In this role, they led a team of 30 fitness instructors and personal trainers, increased department revenues by 35%, and created a group program with over 80 classes per week and 40 special events per month. In 2019, they were promoted to the position of Director of Fitness and Wellness at Ocean Reef Club. In 2020, they became the Chairman of the Club Spa and Fitness Association.

Luis Bracamonte graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2001 with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. In June 2007, they became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Luis further enhanced their qualifications in August 2008 by gaining the Corrective Exercise Specialist certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Most recently, in April 2017, Luis Bracamonte acquired the LifeBreath Facilitator certification from the LifeBreath Institute.
