Merrick Jackinsky

As a lifelong Alaskan, Merrick works with local regulators, communities, and electrical providers to develop tidal and river-based energy projects for ORPC. Having grown up fishing in the Gulf of Alaska, Merrick brings his familiarity with the traditional way of life to the technical and logistical aspects of project development through his background in contract negotiation, construction management and engineering design. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and has worked on a variety of energy-related projects throughout his professional career.
