Courtney McGeachy is a seasoned professional in marine and environmental science with extensive experience in program management and strategic partnerships. Currently serving as the Director of the OV-UN Decade Collaborative Center for Ocean Climate Solutions at Ocean Visions, Courtney leads initiatives focused on equitable ocean-based solutions to combat climate change. Previous roles include Director of the GOLD+ Program at Conservation International, where efforts concentrated on reducing mercury usage in gold mining, and serving as a Principal Associate at The Pew Charitable Trusts, managing the Pew Fellows in Marine Conservation Program. Additional experience includes managing marine conservation initiatives at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and founding R&R Threads, an environmentally conscious apparel brand. Courtney holds a B.S. in Marine and Environmental Science from Hampton University and an M.S. in Marine, Environmental and Estuarine Sciences from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
