Djalil Bouafia

Djalil Bouafia is an experienced construction and project management professional currently serving as Head of Construction at OW Ocean Winds since August 2023. Previously, Djalil held the position of Senior Manager Design & Construction at Amazon, where responsibilities included managing a portfolio of 25 to 30 construction projects valued at approximately 300M€ for logistics infrastructure in France and Belgium. Djalil's extensive background encompasses roles at Petrofac, managing major projects like the Turkstream and BorWin Gamma HVDC projects, and at Technip, leading construction and commissioning efforts for the Yamal LNG project. Earlier roles include site services engineering at Axens and automation engineering at Schneider Electric, where Djalil developed technical and managerial skills through a graduate program. Djalil holds a Master’s degree in Project Management & Business Engineering from Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers and an engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the National Polytechnic School.
