Lauren Miller

Lauren Miller's work experience includes a current role as the Associate Director of IT Security and Compliance at OW Ocean Winds. Prior to this, they worked at EDP Renewables (formerly Horizon Wind Energy) for 10 years, where they were the Manager of Learning & Development, North America. In this role, they were responsible for delivering effective training content, creating and executing training programs, and utilizing technology to provide learning opportunities to remote employees. Before that, Lauren held various positions at Horizon Wind Energy, including Senior Operations Manager, Operations Manager, and Assistant Operations Manager, where they were responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a wind farm. Lauren also has experience in the United States Navy as an Inspection Team Lead, Training Officer, and Force Protection Officer, where they led teams and implemented training programs.

Lauren Miller attended the United States Naval Academy from 2000 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering/Math/Science Core Curriculum and History. In addition, they obtained several certifications including Certified e-Learning Specialist, Certified Instructor/Facilitator, Technical Trainer, Certified Performance Consultant, Change Management Certification, Certified Instructional Designer/Developer, Certified Training Manager/Director, Specialty Certification, and Training & Development Diploma from Langevin Learning Services.
