Manuel Fernández García del Campo started their career as an Auditor Senior at Deloitte, where they worked as part of the external auditing team and handled economic-financial consulting projects for various industrial companies. Manuel then joined Union Fenosa, where they held several roles, including Country Manager in China and Director of Control and Resources. Manuel also played a key role in the establishment of the company CONECTA in Uruguay. After that, Manuel joined IDER, SL, a newly created company focused on developing wind farms, where they served as the General Director until it was acquired and integrated into the EDP Renewables group. At EDP Renewables, they held various positions, including Director of Project Management, Country Manager in Romania, Director of Sustainability for Europe and Brazil, and Director of Operation and Maintenance for Europe and Brazil. Manuel is currently employed at OW Ocean Winds as a Project Director, responsible for the greenfield development of floating offshore wind farms in Spain and the Mediterranean region.

Manuel Fernández García del Campo obtained their degree in Minas from the Universidad de Oviedo, where they studied from 1981 to 1987.
