Samantha Renshaw

Samantha Renshaw has a diverse work experience. Samantha is currently working at Ocean Wise as a Sustainable Fisheries and Seafood Science Lead since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant at Dalhousie University's Integrated Fisheries Lab from February 2020 to January 2023. Samantha also had a role as an Educator at lululemon from October 2020 to February 2022. Samantha has experience in project work as a Project Student at Ocean Tracking Network from June 2019 to February 2020. Additionally, they worked as a Laboratory Research Assistant at Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph from May 2017 to April 2018, and as a Customer Service Representative at LCBO from April 2017 to August 2017.

Samantha Renshaw has a Master's degree in Marine Affairs from Dalhousie University, which they obtained from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Marine and Freshwater Biology at the University of Guelph from 2013 to 2018. In 2017, they also received a Certificate in Environmental Conservation from the University of Guelph. Samantha also holds additional certifications such as Advanced Open Water Diver and Rescue Diver from PADI, obtained in 2023, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the Canadian Red Cross, obtained in July 2021. Additionally, they became an Open Water Diver in 2010.
