Ronel Roque

Ronel Roque is an experienced electrical and instrumentation professional currently serving as the Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor in the Asset Maintenance Department at OceanaGold Corporation since January 2013. In this role, Ronel assesses, schedules, and assigns predictive and preventive maintenance tasks, while managing personnel and coordinating materials through Pronto Xi. Previously, Ronel held the position of Electrical Process Instrumentation and Control Shift Maintenance Lead Tech, overseeing preventive maintenance, construction, installations, and troubleshooting. Before joining OceanaGold, Ronel was an Electrical Supervisor for the Didipio mine project at Oceana Gold Philippines from November 2011 to December 2012, and also served as an Electrical Supervisor at Build Asia, supervising electrical works for auxiliary projects at Didipio mine. Ronel holds a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering from Nueva Vizcaya State University.
