Teressa McGee

Teressa McGee has extensive experience in health information management, currently serving as the Corporate HIM Coding Manager and Corporate Coding Auditor for Oceans Healthcare since May 2022 in an interim remote capacity. Prior to this role, Teressa worked at Kindred as a Corporate Inpatient and Outpatient Coder and held the position of Interim Director of HIM at WellBridge Greater Dallas. Teressa has also served as the Director of HIM at WellBridge Hospital Fort Worth and has held various roles including HIM Manager at Cook Children's Northeast Hospital and HIM Director at LifeCare Hospital of Fort Worth. Additionally, Teressa has significant consulting experience, including an interim position at Carrollton Springs Hospital and assisting in the implementation of HIM policies at Sundance Behavioral Healthcare. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Health Informatics and a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Administration from the University of Cincinnati, as well as an Associate of Science in Health Information Technology from Tarrant County College.
