Karina Mena

Karina Mena has worked for two companies over the past 16 years. In 2021, they began working for Ocelot Bio as an EA & Operations Manager. At Ocelot Bio, they work to bring OCE-205 to patients with end-stage liver disease. From 2005 to 2021, they worked for Ferring Pharmaceuticals in a variety of roles, including Senior Associate I, Business & Research, Business & Research Associate I, and Research Clerk/Scientific Information and Intelligence. Her duties at Ferring Pharmaceuticals included tracking of scientific legal agreements, maintenance of databases and SharePoint-based archives, logistics management, advertising, website design/maintenance, onsite support, and registration for the annual Peptide Therapeutics Symposium of 200+ local and global attendees.

Karina Mena obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA from San Diego State University in the field of Art Teacher Education.
