Dermot Roche

Dermot Roche is the current Chief Executive Officer at Ochre Health. Prior to this, they served as the Executive General Manager at Medibank Health Solutions from April 2008 to November 2016. In this role, they were responsible for the telephone, online and population health business, and had full P&L responsibility for a business with a turnover of $210m pa. Dermot also managed a team of over 1,000 in locations across Australia and New Zealand, including over 800 clinical staff, sales team, operations management, product development, customer solutions and marketing. Additionally, Dermot Roche managed 4 major clinics in capital cities, 3 call centre locations and over 600 telehealth staff working 24x7x365 through a unique 'work from home' model.

From January 2005 to December 2007, Dermot Roche served as the Regional Director at Salmat Ltd. In this role, they were responsible for managing large health contracts (over $500m of contract value with individual contracts in the $20m-$70m pa range) for government, NGO, insurance and corporate sectors. Dermot also oversaw senior executive engagement at C level and senior government bureaucrats.

Prior to their work at Salmat Ltd, Dermot Roche served as the Group Chief Commercial Officer at GEON Group from March 2007 to April 2008.
