Crystal Lanier

Crystal Lanier, RHIT, has extensive experience in health information management and coding, currently working as an ER Outpatient Coder at Rush Health Systems since August 2015. In this role, Crystal applies charges to accounts from electronic health records, utilizes 3M software to assign diagnoses, and calculates evaluation and management levels for the physician side. Prior to this, Crystal served as a Release of Information Disclosure Technician at Weems Mental Health for a brief period in early 2014 and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at East Mississippi State Hospital from April 2013 to December 2013, assisting with daily living activities. Crystal holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Health Information/Medical Records Technology from Meridian Community College, earned between 2013 and 2015.
