James Scott

James Scott has over 30 years of work experience in the renewable energy industry. James started their career in 1990 at Public Citizen, Inc., where they served as Deputy Director and advocated for environmental and consumer issues. In 2000, they joined Cielo Wind Power as a Business Manager. From 2005 to 2012, they worked at Renewable Energy Systems as a Pre-Construction Manager, managing bids and proposals for large-scale wind and solar construction projects. In 2012, they became the CEO of Scatec Energy. James then moved to EDF Renewable Energy in 2015, where they worked as a Project Development Manager until 2018. Currently, they are working at OCI Solar Power LLC as a Senior Project Development Manager.

James Scott attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics. James also completed a BA in Economics at the same institution, although the start and end years for this degree were not provided.
