Marcel Wijngaard

Marcel Wijngaard is an experienced product manager currently serving as the Sr. Product Owner for Wise products at OCLC (Nederland) since May 2001. With a solid background in software management and development, Marcel previously owned Mcas Software, which delivered a dedicated package for financial guardianship and income management, and operated Masis Bewindvoering. Additional roles include serving as the treasurer for VV Harkstede and as a web administrator for the Vereniging Dorpsbelangen Harkstede. Prior to these positions, Marcel gained extensive experience in IT consultancy, programming, and application management across notable companies such as KPN Telecom and Provinciale Bibliotheekcentrale Drenthe. Marcel's educational achievements include a Scrum for Product Owners certification from LearnIt and multiple degrees from HBO University, culminating in a strong foundation for product ownership and IT expertise.
