Cindy Villarreal has extensive work experience in the field of architecture. Cindy is currently the Office Director in the Houston branch of O'Connell Robertson since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager and Project Architect at the same company from February 2020 to April 2023. Before joining O'Connell Robertson, they were a Project Architect at Perkins+Will from February 2016 to February 2020. Cindy also worked as an Architect at EYP from March 2012 to February 2016, where they collaborated on various projects, including Allied Health projects and higher education buildings. Cindy gained experience as an Architect and Project Manager at ArchStudio Houston from October 2010 to March 2012. Additionally, they worked as an Architectural Designer at WHR Architects from April 2008 to October 2010 and as an Architectural Technician at Oscar Tusquets Associates from August 2007 to March 2008. Cindy Villarreal holds an MBA, is a registered Architect (AIA), and has certifications as a WELL AP and CDT.

Cindy Villarreal, AIA, MBA, WELL AP, CDT, completed their education in a chronological order. Cindy obtained their Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree in Architecture from the University of Houston, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the UHD Marilyn Davies College of Business from 2019 to 2021.

In addition to their educational accomplishments, Cindy Villarreal also holds several additional certifications. Cindy is a Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) certified by the Construction Specifications Institute. Cindy is also a LEED AP, BD+C certified by the USGBC - National Capital Region Chapter, and holds a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards Certification (NCARB) from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). Furthermore, they are a Registered Architect and a Registered Interior Designer certified by the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners. Finally, they are a WELL AP certified by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI).
