Matt Jones has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Matt started their career at Canadian Tire Corporation as an Advertising Planning Analyst and later worked as a Seasonal Planning Analyst. Matt then moved on to Labatt Breweries of Canada, where they held several positions including Assistant Customer Marketing Manager, Assistant Brand Marketing Manager, National Trade Marketing Manager for Bud Light & Bud Light Lime, and Senior Manager for Brand Activation - Budweiser. At Campari Canada, they served as the Director of Channel & Customer Marketing for Canada. Matt then joined Tilray as the Director of Customer Marketing & Sales Operations before joining HEXO Corp as the Director of Sales for Eastern Canada. Currently, they are working at OCS Ontario Cannabis Store as the Director - Customer Experience Strategy, Operations & Planning. Throughout their career, Matt has demonstrated expertise in developing and executing sales strategies, managing teams, and driving revenue growth.

Matt Jones completed their education at Fanshawe College, where they obtained a degree in Marketing Management from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they studied Computer Science at the same college from 1997 to 1998. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Sommelier Level I for Cannabis from CannaReps in 2020, Cicerone Level 1 from Labatt Breweries of Canada in 2016, and Lean Six Sigma certifications from Six Sigma Global Institute.
