Laurie Wilson

Laurie Wilson is an experienced professional in the sports hospitality and event management industry, currently serving as Group Director at Octagon since June 2023. Previously, as Global Account Director at The iLUKA Collective from October 2018 to May 2023, Laurie led high-profile VIP hospitality programs at global sporting events, managed client accounts, and created substantial budgets, contributing to significant projects such as COVID-19 mitigation processes for Tokyo 2020. With a rich background that includes roles at ATPI Sports Events, iLUKA, the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games Organizing Committee, and others, Laurie has demonstrated expertise in project management, client relations, and operational leadership, while fostering increased participation in wheelchair sports through community programs in Alberta. Laurie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from Augustana University College.
