Lily Fontenot Kushner

Lily Frances Fontenot is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various legal roles. Currently serving as Staff Counsel in Talent & Properties at Octagon since June 2021, previous roles at the same organization include Contract Specialist and Legal Department Trainee. Fontenot has also completed a legal internship focused on human rights at the University of Miami School of Law and gained practical experience as a Summer Legal Intern with United Soccer Leagues LLC, where responsibilities included researching COVID-19-related workplace legal issues. Additional experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at the University of Miami School of Education and Human Development and leadership positions at LSU Tiger TV, where management of over 50 staff members was a key responsibility. Fontenot holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Miami School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies, Spanish, and Sports Studies from Louisiana State University.
