Iván de Gyves

Iván de Gyves is a Software Engineer at Octahedroid since October 2020, specializing in Golang backend development with experience in microservices using gRPC and GraphQL, as well as familiarity with GCP and Terraform. Previously, at the Meritorious Autonomous University of Puebla (BUAP) from September 2016 to September 2020, Iván served as a network security administrator and system administrator, focusing on perimeter firewall management, pentesting, vulnerability assessments, and network troubleshooting. Earlier professional experience includes roles at Softlite Solutions, first as a developer specializing in Drupal and then as a sysadmin, where responsibilities included MySQL optimization and VM deployment. Iván holds a degree in Computer Sciences Engineering from Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, earned in 2015.
