Maria Aveledo

Maria Aveledo is the current Chief Business Officer at Octane. Maria has also worked as an operations intern at DonorsChoose.org, a business developer at Impact Hub Network, and a consultant at Universidad Metropolitana - UNIMET. Prior to their work in the social impact sector, Maria worked as an investor analyst at J.P. Morgan Asset Management where they collaborated with a team of investors and bankers to manage and monitor discretionary accounts, create tailored investment proposals, and make portfolio recommendations for 100+ clients from the Andes region.

Maria Aveledo has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an undergraduate degree in Management from Georgetown University. Maria also has a certification from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate.
