Ahmed Shalaby has held a variety of roles in the technology and engineering fields. In 2012, they began their career as a Job Shadow at King's Daughters Medical Center. In 2013, they were an Enterprise System Management Summer Associate at UPMC. In 2014, they were an Operate Team Technology Analyst Intern at J.P. Morgan. In 2015, they were a Technical Advisor at Ropes & Gray LLP, where they helped prepare and prosecute patent applications before the U.S. and international patent offices and assisted attorneys in technical matters including due diligence and licensing. In 2016, they were a Software Engineer at Google. In 2018, they were a Quantitative Research Engineer at Citadel LLC. Finally, in 2020, they became a Co-Founder at Octane.
Ahmed Shalaby graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Biomedical Engineering.
