Shannon O'Hara

Shannon O'Hara currently serves as Vice President of Communications & Brand at Octane®, having held several positions within the company since September 2021, including Senior Director and Director of Corporate Communications. Prior to Octane®, Shannon O'Hara worked at Swiss Re from April 2015 to September 2021, where key roles included Head of Marketing Communications Americas and Vice President of Internal and Leadership Communications. Earlier experience includes a Senior Account Manager position at SNP Communications, a Doctoral Candidate and Project Manager role at the University of St Andrews, and various marketing and communication positions at Time Inc. and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Shannon O'Hara holds a Ph.D. and M.Litt in Creative Writing from the University of St Andrews and a BA in Political Science from Colgate University.
