Michelle Wong

Michelle Wong is the current Head of Operations at Octant. Michelle has extensive experience in the legal field, having worked as an Associate at Dechert LLP from October 2012 to October 2020. In this role, they were responsible for auditing and developing compliance policies and procedures for funds and investment advisers, as well as advising board of directors on regulatory, governance, and business matters. Michelle also has experience in private fund formation, having drafted and analyzed private placement memoranda and operating agreements for private funds. In addition to their work in the legal field, Michelle also has experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having worked as a Senior Oncology Specialist at Johnson & Johnson from September 2003 to August 2009. Michelle is a recipient of the 2018 Diversity Champion Award.

Michelle Wong has a Doctor of Law from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, a Master of Business Administration from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies - Science from Georgetown University. Michelle also has certifications from the American Sailing Association in ASA 114, Cruising Catamaran; ASA 104, Bareboat Cruising; ASA 103, Basic Coastal Cruising; and ASA 101, Basic Keelboat Sailing. In addition, they have a certification from Development Dimensions International in Targeted Selection Interviewer.

They work with Naomi Handly - Head of Platform, Rick Artis - Chief Scientific Officer, and Galen Loving - Head of High-Throughput Chemistry. Michelle Wong reports to Sri Kosuri, Co-Founder & CEO.
