Gerhard Tuma

Gerhard Tuma has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a career spanning over four decades. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Octapharma since October 1980, Gerhard Tuma specializes in managing projects with external partners, focusing on fill, finish, and packaging processes, as well as overseeing green field projects. Previously, Gerhard Tuma held the position of Abteilungsleiter at Octapharma, responsible for pharmaceutical production, including the production of Small Volume Parenterals (SVP) and Large Volume Parenterals (LVP) across three filling lines. Before joining Octapharma, Gerhard Tuma worked as an Abteilungsleiter at Behring/Hoechst Austria from 1977 to September 1980, where the focus was on aseptic filling of liquids and lyophilized products, along with responsibilities in lyophilization and plasma entry control.
