Jim Eubanks, PhD has over 20 years of experience in the medical and scientific fields. Jim began their career in 2000 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of Chicago. In 2002, they moved to the University of Washington to work as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, where they investigated molecular genetic mechanisms of retinal development and their possible relevance to retinal regeneration. In 2003, they began working as a National Medical Scientist (Medical Science Liaison) at Boehringer Ingelheim. From 2006 to 2015, they worked at Teva Pharmaceuticals, where they held roles as Associate Director, Field Medical Affairs and Medical Science Liaison, Neurology/Neuroimmunology/Neurodegenerative diseases. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at TG Therapeutics, Inc. as Director, Field Based Medical Affairs and Clinical Development/Clinical Science Liaison for Autoimmune Diseases. During 2019, they worked at both Medtronic and Stealth BioTherapeutics, where they held roles such as Global Director of Medical Affairs, Neuromodulation, Global Director of Clinical Research, Brain Modulation, and Medical Scientific Liaison, respectively. Currently, they are working at Octave Bioscience as National Director of Medical Science Liaisons.
Jim Eubanks earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neurobiology, Developmental Neurobiology from the University of Washington in 2000. Jim obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Colorado College in 1990. Jim attended Ellensburg High School prior to that.
