Larry Sher

Larry Sher is an accomplished actuarial consultant with extensive experience spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Partner at October Three Consulting since October 2011, Larry possesses a wealth of leadership experience, having previously held the position of President at Sher Actuarial Consulting and the Conference of Consulting Actuaries. Additional roles include Principal at Hewitt Associates and a Special Director for the American Academy of Actuaries. Larry also contributed significantly as Vice Chairman of the Actuarial Standards Board, overseeing the publication of professional standards in the U.S. Prior roles include Principal and Director of Research at Buck Consultants and Principal at PricewaterhouseCoopers, stemming from a foundational career as a Partner at Kwasha Lipton. Larry holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Rutgers University.
