Grigori Fursin

Grigori Fursin is the VP of MLOps at OctoML. Grigori is also the Founder and CEO of cKnowledge.io, which was acquired by OctoML.ai.

Fursin has a long-term goal of accelerating AI, ML and Systems innovation. Grigori does this by bridgeing the gap between academic and industrial research with the help of portable, customizable, reproducible and reusable workflows with plug&play components (models, datasets, frameworks, compilers, platforms) from reproduced research papers.

In April 2021, Fursin joined forces with OctoML.ai to automate development, optimization and deployment of efficient ML Systems (speed, accuracy, energy, size, costs) from the cloud to the edge.

Grigori Fursin has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh, an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT), and a B.S. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT). Grigori also has certification from Coursera in Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter Tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, AI For Everyone, and Machine Learning.
