Zach Shelton

Zach Shelton has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Zach is currently working at Octopus Energy as a Senior Frontend Engineer & Team Lead since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Frontend Developer at the same company from February 2022 to February 2023.

Before joining Octopus Energy, Zach worked at the Houston Rockets from 2013 to 2022. Zach held multiple positions during their tenure, including Digital Development Manager from January 2020 to January 2022, Corporate Creative Manager from July 2018 to January 2020, Corporate Sales Design from March 2015 to June 2018, and Marketing Associate from September 2013 to March 2015.

Additionally, Zach worked as a Texas Football Featured Columnist at Bleacher Report from April 2012 to January 2017, a Freelance Writer at Bridgehead Media from September 2013 to March 2015, and an OpenMic Sports Content Generator at TuneIn from December 2013 to July 2014.

Zach also gained experience as an Intern at Lone Star Gridiron from July 2013 to January 2014, as well as at the University Interscholastic League from May 2011 to July 2013, USA Football from May 2012 to July 2012, and ESPN Austin from April 2012 to July 2012.

Zach Shelton attended St. Thomas High School in Houston, TX from 2006 to 2009. Zach then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management at The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.
