Drew Barrett

Drew Barrett is a seasoned investment professional with a strong focus on the renewable energy sector. Since January 2012, Drew has served as Senior Investment Manager at Octopus Energy, where responsibilities include leading the investment strategy for a £3 billion portfolio of energy generation assets. Additionally, Drew co-founded Plybl in May 2019, specializing in the design and manufacturing of bespoke plywood furniture using mass customization techniques. Prior experience at Octopus Investments includes roles as Investment Manager and Junior Portfolio Manager, where Drew contributed to the growth of the renewables portfolio and assisted in the development of early large-scale solar farms in the UK. Drew's educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
