Lukasz Michalak

Lukasz Michalak has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Lukasz currently holds the position of a Non Executive Director at Weev since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Investment Director at Octopus Investments from August 2020. In this role, Lukasz led investments in sustainable infrastructure and private equity. Earlier in their career, they served as a Non Executive Director at InfraFleet from October 2022 and at Giganet from April 2021 to March 2023. Lukasz also has experience working in corporate development at Octopus from March 2018 to August 2020. Lukasz co-founded Octopus Lifestyles in January 2017 and served as the Business Development lead until March 2018. Before that, Lukasz worked as an Investment Manager at Octopus Investments from February 2013 to January 2017. Lukasz began their career as a Senior Associate at KPMG Advisory from September 2011. Prior to that, they worked at Arup as a Transaction Advice Consultant and Mechanical Engineer from August 2010 to September 2011 and from September 2007 to August 2010, respectively. Lukasz also had a brief stint as a Consultant at their own venture in October to December 2006.

Lukasz Michalak obtained a Master's degree in Energy and sustainability in the built environment from Aalborg University in the years 2005-2007. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology in the years 2002-2007. Lukasz also holds a certification as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) from the Engineering Council, obtained in the year 2010.
