Nicolás Eduardo Sáez Muñoz

Nicolás Eduardo Sáez Muñoz has a diverse work experience starting from 2009 when they did a pre-professional internship at Dole Chile. From there, they gained experience as an Engineering Projects Engineer at Dictuc, specializing in Simulation and Optimization of Processes. Nicolás Eduardo then moved on to become a Project Engineer at Dictuc, where they continued to work on industrial engineering consulting projects.

In 2015, Nicolás joined Walmart Chile as a Senior Project Engineer in Industrial Engineering. Nicolás Eduardo later took on the role of a Professor's Guide for a Simulation course at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

In 2016, they became a Senior Consultant at Dux Partners, where they executed studies and implemented improvement initiatives in various operational areas. Nicolás then transitioned to a Project Manager and later to a Project Manager at i DUX.

Nicolás Eduardo returned to Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2019 as a Professor of Stochastic Systems Simulation Fundamentals. Finally, Nicolás is currently working at Octodots Analytics as the Director of Data Science and Operations, and they will begin their role as the Director of Product in May 2023.

Nicolás Eduardo Sáez Muñoz pursued their education at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. From 2008 to 2014, they completed their undergraduate studies and obtained a degree in Ingeniero Civil de Industrias. During the same period, they also pursued additional academic qualifications and received a Diploma Académico in Ingeniería Minera. In 2009, they started a program in Diseño Integral and completed it in 2012, earning a Certificado Académico. Later, in 2013 and 2014, they pursued a master's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, specializing in Magíster en Ciencias de la Ingeniería.
