Vanessa Assam-Gorski

Vanessa joins the Ocular Science Family as KOL Manager. She shares the company’s belief in putting patients ahead of profits with a wealth of experience in non-profit fundraising, marketing and event planning that uniquely ground her work with key opinion leaders that contribute to Ocular Science's success. With home roots in Southern Oregon, Vanessa graduated from Chapman University with a Bachelor of Arts in Peace Studies and a double-minor in Environmental Policy and German, after which she pursued a Certificate in Fundraising Management from Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. From homeless youth to mental health to digital equity, Vanessa has collectively raised millions of dollars to empower equity in a variety of non-profit settings. She had the pleasure of personally fostering nationwide partnerships with multiple Forbes 500 companies, including Visa, eBay and TD Synnex. She has a special appreciation for traveling and personal development books. In her downtime, she currently enjoys newlywed life with her husband and Shih Tzu named Wookie in Los Angeles.
